Contemporary Fashion Design : Today and tomorrow

Those who says that fashion is one of the most important puerile way to present oneself perhaps lives outside the contemporary world. As fashion is not only is the fad to show once bode but at the same time feel at ease in the society. For many it may be the matter of prestige, so whats wrong in it? After all every body loves to be cynosure of all eyes in a gathering and if that person is the celebrity in general and woman in particular then nobody complains.

Fashion Design is covetous to todays youth as it is related to glamour, money and fame. Therefore in the contemporary fashion design the design presently in vogue is being taught as the subject to the budding designers who want to earn their diurnal wages through it. Earlier, people were not showing any inclination to join the courses pertaining to fashion design, but now a huge wave of fashion has swept every body there is mad rush of people running after it.

But why the design and especially the fashion which was despicable a decade ago have shot to this lime light and has become the craze of generation next. Well there have been other sources also which has acted as the catalyst in the growth of the fashion in the present time. The opening of the media and entry of the private channels in not just in the eastern part of the world but there has been the exchange of information from one part of globe to the other part has bolstered the influence of sexy design and outfit.

The growth of the entertainment industry has been tremendous and this has opened the gate for the courses of fashion design. Countries where fashion was seen as the attack on the culture and history, it has rather helped to enriched the culture of the nation by bringing in the new technology and at the same time showcased the local design in large number on channel as the staple diet of the people.

So, design which was scorned for maligning the culture suddenly found the new breadth and help preserving the local art and culture. This has helped the fashion design to grow in large scale across the countries of the globe. If we take the example of the India, we would find, since Indian culture has been considered free from the influence of the foreign design, the entry of the satellite TV in the country has created a lot of hue and cry by the local fundamentalist group as the invasion on the Indian culture. The MTV, V Channel were demonized as label as the serving the porn to the youth of the country by showing most of the western program.

But now the most of the program of these channels have become Indianized and showing more of the design having the local fervor. With the advent of this, the fashion design has come up as a big industry in the country and people are showing more variety coming not only from the urban centre but also from the very interior part of the country. Now the fashion design has emerged as the experienced industry in the country which is trying to experiment and making something very innovative to the world at large.

How To Cruise For Free

Its possible to cruise for free and its not as hard as you might think. Gather up a group of your friends and family and you can earn free passage and group benefits. Just reserve eight or more staterooms on one sailing and youve got a group!

Most cruise lines define a group cruise as a minimum of 16 people occupying eight cabins. The 16th person (which could be you, the tour conductor) cruises free. Tour conductors work with a travel agency to make all the travel and onboard arrangements. Cruise Lines only award the value of the cruise fare only. Port charges, taxes and government fees are not free and must be paid by everyone in the group, including the Tour conductor. All you really need is a group willing to travel together and an excuse to go such as a family reunion, birthday, anniversary, wedding, college reunion, church groups, friends or just to have fun and you are on your way to cruising for free.

Getting a free fare is one thing. Getting a free cabin is something else altogether. For that you need to book twice as many people and cabins. Sixteen people means the 16th person cruises free; 16 cabins means the 16th cabin is free.

Some cruise lines also offer special perks available only to group cruisers. Amenities can include such things as private hosted cocktail parties, cabin upgrades and shipboard credits.

Each cruise line has its own group leader policy and they may vary depending upon the cruise lines guidelines.

Home Away From Home: Benefits Of Condos Over Hotels And Rvs

Most parents of school-age children are forced to confine their family vacations to summer months, Christmas holiday and Spring break. Other families can choose to take their vacations at any time that is appropriate to their personal preferences.

When people consider their vacation or weekend getaways, few understand the true range of options they really do have available to them. Many people think their only options for lodging on vacation is limited to: hotels, motels, cabins, RVs, travel trailers, and tents. But the truth is that there are a few more options that most people never even consider.

Condominiums, also referred to as Condos, are another great lodging option to consider. But, just speaking the word Condo brings to mind for many the concept of Time Share Condos. Of course, that is one option with a Condo, but we are going to look at the other options as well.

Condominium Residency Arrangements

A condominium, very literally, is very similar to an apartment. It is a fully self-contained living arrangement, with a living area, bedrooms, private balconies, and a full kitchen; and most condos contain all of the amenities, including big screen televisions, DVD players, high-speed Internet access, and other creature comforts we generally have in our homes, such as washers and dryers. Many condos also have hot tubs or Jacuzzis in the apartments.

Condos are basically full apartments, located in areas of prime real estate, such as Las Vegas on the Strip, or many other locations around the world on beachfront property. Condos generally provide additional benefits such as swimming pools, weight rooms, restaurants, and other high-value goodies.

We are going to look at four types of Condo purchase arrangements in this section.

1. Condominium Ownership Condo ownership costs include the purchase price of the apartment and yearly fees to cover maintenance costs.

2. Condominium Timeshares With a timeshare, the basic concept is that more people can afford them, because the cost of ownership is split among several owners on a per week basis. When someone buys a timeshare, they are buying a 1/52nd ownership of the Condo for a specific, pre-designated calendar week. With a timeshare, one is entitled to take over the property beginning on a specific calendar date, and they must vacate the property at the end of the week.

3. Condominium Rentals Instead of timesharing a condo, many people opt to rent a condo, which frequently requires a purchase of a specific weekly period, although many condos provide flexibility so that you can decide which week you would like to rent. Some condo owners will allow individuals to rent by the day, but those have a much lower availability, than the condos that rent by the week. More on this later in this article.

4. The Dreaded Seminar Timeshare Some companies are so desperate to find people to listen to their sales message that they are willing to put prospects up in a timeshare condo for the weekend or week, so long as the person(s) agrees to attend a specific number of sales presentations during their stay.

Benefits of Condos Over Hotels

The greatest benefit of condominiums over hotels is two-fold.

First, condos are fully self-contained, providing kitchens, spacious living and all of the luxuries of home to their guests. Many also provide high-speed Internet and data access to their business-class guests. For many folks, the full kitchen is the greatest advantage of a condo, in that, they will not have to eat nearly every meal in a restaurant, enabling the vacationer to spend his or her money on attractions rather than on restaurant foods.

The second greatest benefit for condominiums is three-fold: location, location, and location. Condos are generally located on some of the best prime real estate properties in the world. For example, City Center in Las Vegas is located on the Strip between the Bellagio Hotel and Casino and the New York, New York Hotel and Casino. Beachfront condos exist in nearly every major beach destination in the world. Condos are available in San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, Atlanta and Miami, just to name a few metropolitan locations. And locations are not restricted to U.S. destinations; in fact, condos are available in nearly every travel destination of the world.

Benefits of Condos Over RVs and Travel Trailers

RVs are nice, but considering the cost of fuel these days, they are seldom a great option for most travelers. A friend of mine recently priced a RV for a planned family vacation, and he found the cost for eight days would easily exceed one thousand dollars, plus mileage over 200 miles, plus fuel. At eight miles per gallon, his planned trip of 500 miles one-way would have easily translated into 125 gallons of gasoline and more than $400, just in fuel costs, at current fuel prices.

Sure, the RV is still more spacious than a car during a long road trip, but for the cost, renting a Cadillac for the trip might just make more sense. Given the claustrophobic nature of his wife, he felt that train or airplane might make more sense for his roundtrip transportation needs.

Transportation costs aside, the travel trailer and RV are both generally a bit confining in the space considerations. Certainly, the RV beats the travel trailer hands down in this department, most of the time, but when you consider the stress of stuffing a family of five with three young children into a RV, there is never enough space available for the sanity of the parents.

Benefits Over the Great Outdoors

With smaller travel trailers, travelers are still stuck with cooking outdoors. Sure, the travel trailer might be easier than the tent to set up, but travel trailers usually have small kitchens, if they even have a kitchen at all. Cooking outdoors for a family is more of a challenge than many in todays world want to consider.

The limited amount of refrigerated storage is another area that is usually greatly strained with the use of the average travel trailer or tent camping experience. Going into the woods with a ice chest is fine for an afternoon trip, but once that trip expands beyond the life of the ice in the chest, then food options drop off considerably. This is the greatest cause of stress for people planning such trips. They always need to manage how they can maximize their food store, within very limited-size refrigerated storage containers.

In todays modern world, it is frequently impossible to escape the reliance we have come to have for modern technology. This leads to a need for power supplies that can accompany the traveler, to keep them plugged into their gadgets. Tents and small travel trailers do not accommodate this need in many instances.

The Purpose of Vacations Is Rest and Relaxation, Which Is Sometimes Lost

For many of us, the purpose of a vacation is rest and relaxation. But, as we have seen above, the challenges of taking long trips can sometimes produce more stress than relaxation.

Another friend told me that he was very much relieved when his parents decided not to take any more summer vacations for the family. He said that by the end of the first day, every member of his family was ready to strangle the other. By the end of day two of their six-day traveling vacations, everyone wanted to go home, but his dad was stubborn to a fault. His family had tried nearly all of the above options: tents, travel trailers, RVs, hotels and motels.

Even today, twenty years later, he cannot fathom a family vacation like his parents took, without his blood pressure going up. A few years back, he had tried the condominium rental route, and he has never looked back.

He told me that for him and his young family, the only vacation choice they will ever take advantage of is the condo rentals. He said the money he saves by not going to restaurants, generally covers the extra costs of the condominium. He said the enjoyment that he and his family experience, is far greater than what it would be if they forced themselves to live in a hotel room for a week. He said the extra goodies that the condos generally provide help him to give his family a much more rounded and robust experience. He says the added space and convenience of the condo experience permits him and his wife to relax more during their out-of-state vacations.

Making a Great Vacation Even Better

I am in the business of providing wholesale travel packages to the consumer market. I got into this business myself, because I love to travel with my family. Because I am able to save so much money on my own travel, it enables me to take my family on more trips and vacations than I had previously thought I could do.

The one thing I love most about my job is that I can give others the power to do as I do. I set my friend up with a discount condo card package, and now he is able to get his condominium rentals for much less than he was previously able to do. Depending on his trip destinations, he was generally paying $650 to $2500 for one week in his choice destination.

When I was able to hook him up with the discount condo card package, he paid one small upfront fee to my company of $250 for the condo card. On one trip, he stayed in a five-star condo resort and was able to get the condo for a week at just about 25% of what it would have cost him to rent it at retail cost. On another trip, he was able to stay in a beachfront condo for one week, and it only cost him the taxes that were due on the condo for his one-week stay, a whopping $199.

All told, my friend has so far taken two one-week vacations, and between plane tickets and condo costs, he has only spent about half of what he spent on his previous trip, the one he took before I set him up to take advantage of the travel packages I sell.

The Greatest Reward

The greatest reward for me in what I do, is knowing how I am able to help people get more out of life for less money than what they would spend on their own, without my help.

In conclusion, let me ask you two very important questions. First, how much did you spend on your last family vacation or weekend getaway? And secondly, how much are you going to have to spend on your next family vacation or weekend getaway?

Luxury Hotels In Spain

So you are traveling to Spain and planning to visit Barcelona while you are there, but the thought of staying in a noisy, busy, city centre hotel leaves you cold? Dont worry, there are other options when it comes to Barcelona hotels, and the following couple of suggestions should make for a mush more relaxed trip.

The first suggestion is to try one of the superb four star hotels at the Port Aventura theme park, only a short distance outside the centre, rather than a hotel in Barcelona city itself. It is possible to get a dedicated transfer from Barcelonas main airport, directly to the theme park, which will drop you right outside your hotel. Of course, you can always hire a car and drive yourself to the theme park, and if you do, remember that Europcar have special arrangements with the Port Aventura hotels to ensure you get the best deal.

The four hotels available each have their own particular character and are decorated and furnished to a very high level. Whichever you choose you will be guaranteed a luxurious visit. If you are looking for classic Mediterranean style you might try the Portaventura hotel, whilst for something a little different, the El Paso hotel has a Mexican theme. If you are after sheer indulgence and the chance to sunbath by the pool on pure white sand, The Hotel Caribe is for you.

As well as bed and breakfast, the very reasonable prices charged by the Port Aventura hotels also include entrance to the theme park and the Caribe Aquatic Centre. Even during the summer months, an expensive period for all hotels in Spain, a night in the hotel with two days in the theme park is just over two hundred euros for a single, and less than one hundred and fifty per person for a double. To reduce the cost even further, you can have a room for up to four people. Out of season, when it is still possible to enjoy good weather in this region, two people could pay less than one hundred euros.

If you want to be a little closer to Barcelona city centre, but are still looking for a luxurious option, away from the crowds of La Rambla, you should check into the Arts Hotle, which offers an incredible sea front location with views over the whole Marina and port area. This is a place to really be pampered, and any of the spacious rooms, suites or split-level apartments, offer an uneatable standard of accommodation. The real gem in this hotel is the Goyescas restaurant, were the extensive menu includes local specialties as well as international cuisine. If you are having trouble deciding between the mouthwatering dishes, a recommendation from the friendly staff may help you make up you mind. They will even tell you the perfect wine to accompany your meal.

So as you can see, it is perfectly possible to enjoy the cultural and historical sights of Barcelona, without having to stay right in the bustling city centre. After a hard days sightseeing you return to a calm relaxing oasis, just a short ride away.

Three Auto Insurance Secrets

Want to learn something new about auto insurance? Something that can save you a lot of money or get a claim paid? Forget the usual tips. Check out these secrets.

1. Demand the legal policy minimums if you have no assets. Do you really need a lot of liability coverage if you have no money in the bank? Insurance companies will tell you that you do because you can be sued regardless. It's possible. I can't promise you that you won't be sued and end up paying a chunk of your paycheck to someone for life.

However, honest insurance salesmen admit that people without assets are rarely sued. Lawyers work on a commission in these cases, and won't take a case where there is no money to be collected. In fact, having a bigger liability policy can be an invitation to sue, and it won't protect you from personal liability, because they always sue for more than the policy limit anyhow.

If you have no assets to protect, why buy auto insurance? Because it is a legal requirement. In that case why not just buy the minimum coverage required? But be careful. My own insurance guy lied for years, claiming I had just that, when in fact I was paying for "company-recommended minimums." You might have to push the point, and may even have to sign something saying you understand how risky it is to be "under-insured."

2. Claim diminished value. If you have a collision policy, your insurance company will pay for the repairs after an accident. However, is the financial damage really fixed? Not necessarily. A car that has been in an accident and had the body fixed may look the same, but it won't sell for the same price. Would you pay the same for a car that has been in an accident?

A car that has been in an accident might be worth $2,000 less than a similar un-damaged car. This is called "diminished value," and may be covered by your policy. However, diminished value is often not paid unless you push the point. Get a car dealer to do an estimate of the diminished value if necessary, and present this to the insurance company. You pay for insurance to have your losses covered, and they aren't covered if you aren't paid for this.

3. Lower your premiums by removing kids from the policy. You may have already discovered that you pay a lot for insurance as long as you have driving-age children at home. Even if they are off at school, if their legal residence is your house, you pay more.

However, there is a little-known exception to this rule. If your children are at a college that's more than 100 miles away, you can have them taken off the insurance policy. This can dramatically reduce your premiums. The catch? They are excluded drivers, so you can't let them drive the car when they come home to visit.

These are just a few examples of the auto insurance secrets that insurance companies probably don't want you to know.

Denali National Park in Alaska - 2006 Travel

The best sightseeing I have ever experienced was this year during a recent trip to Denali National Park in Alaska. I could not have hoped for better weather, wildlife viewing opportunities or friends to share it all with. Our accommodations at the Denali Princess Lodge were fantastic as well.

This fall I was lucky enough to get a call from my brother, an aspiring photographer. He had just been awarded a Fall Drive In Permit to Denali National Park. They are issued by lottery and allow a limited number of drivers to enter the park by vehicle. There are only four days in the entire year in which you can do this. I was thrilled, excited and eagerly awaiting my adventure of a lifetime.

We enter the Alaska Park around 4:30 am so that we could beat the other drivers and make it to a pass called Polychrome for the sunrise. Polychrome got its name for multitudes of colors displayed throughout its rocky layers. Normally this is quite a site but at sunrise it was absolutely amazing. We were also able to catch a great viewing opportunity of Mount McKinley at sunrise. There were a few people around for this and it truly was a marvelous Alaskan experience.

Next we were able to see some wildlife up close. We came across three brown bears, a mother and two cubs. They were eating berries just off the side of the road. Around the next corner we came across a pack of wolves. They were out hunting and just happened to be heading unknowingly straight towards the brown bears. We had to turn around to watch this incredible encounter and Im glad we did.

As the wolves approached the brown bears they let their presence be known. They surrounded the bears and consistently went in close then pulled back to a safe distance while trying to drive the bears out of their territory. The mother bear was somewhat concerned because of her cubs. She kept standing up on her hind legs to see over the vegetation and follow what the wolves were up to. This of course led to many great photo opportunities. Finally after about an hour or so the bears moved back and went over the mountain to the next valley.

We continued our trek back into Denali National Park to the very end of the road. Roughly 90 miles back you will find Wonder Lake. Alaska has many beautiful lakes but this one was simply amazing. The water was crystal clear and so calm you could see the reflection of Mount McKinley just as if you were looking into a mirror. We spent some time at the little pullout the park has there and then began our return trip.

On the way back out we saw several moose. This time of year the moose in Alaska are in rut and you will find many Bull Moose ready to compete for the females. We only saw a little confrontation between the moose however we did see several Bull Moose with racks that had to have measured over 60 inches wide. That is quite impressive by all accounts.

We came across several Alaskan Dall sheep, more brown bears, a beaver, spruce hens, a falcon and a plethora of ground squirrels. The fall colors were out, the sky was blue and this was definitely a once in a lifetime trip through Denali National Parks in Alaska. In my opinion, it was well worth the cost of the travel to Alaska.

How To Treat Sleep Deprivation Using CPAP

Treating sleep deprivation using CPAP is considered as an effective treatment strategy. Sleep derivation is the condition in which the patient cannot experience a continuous sleep. It is considered to be one of the serious disorders since it may lead to many other risky medical conditions. The usual sleep deprivation treatment methods focus on the cure of the underlying cause of the disorder and its associated symptoms, to give a permanent cure for the patient. However, the discovery of the cause will not be easy most times, hence, the medical field has been constantly searching for a solution for sleep deprivation. Today, CPAP is considered as one of the best solution for sleep deprivation.

CPAP, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, is a treatment method for sleep deprivation mainly for the types caused because of breathing problems such as sleep apnea and hypnoapneas. The breathing problems while sleeping may be due to obstructions such as relaxed muscles in the air passage while normal breathing pressure will not be sufficient to overcome these obstructions. The principle of CPAP is based on this fact and it is designed in such a manner to provide compressed air with necessary pressure, which will be sufficient to induce the normal respiration.

In CPAP treatment, a mechanical device is the main part, which can control the air pressure. The CPAP apparatus includes the machine and air outlet, which looks like a mask. The modern versions of CPAP are designed in convenient shapes such as pillows. While lying on the bed, the mask has to be put on the face and air path will be directed straight into the nostrils. During the sleep it will provide the air in the required pressure continuously, as its name indicates, and avoids the disturbances in the sleep.

The amount of pressure to be used for air supply, called titrated pressure, is the most important factor in the CPAP treatment. It has to be determined from overnight sleep studies in the laboratory. Sleep technician can program the particular titrated pressure value in the machine and the machine will deliver air in the particular value every night. There are different types of machines available in the market. In automatic CPAP machines, the usually recommended pressure values will be already recorded in it and the sleep technician has to just choose the value. In some models humidifiers are integrated in CPAP apparatus to avoid the dryness of the compressed air.

CPAP is considered as a successful treatment method for sleep deprivation since in most cases, patients can completely recover from their sleep problem. However, it will be uncomfortable for some patients to start the treatment as the masks will be disturbing for them. In conclusion, the evidences show that they will soon get ride of the uneasiness and will become comfortable with it. CPAP in sleep deprivation treatment can thus, attribute a good quality sleep to many people and save them from the danger of serious risks.

In addition to sleep treatment in adults, it is also useful to treat premature infants.

7 Tricks to Starting an Online Business

The biggest challenge anyone has to making money on the internet is learning how to market or advertise your business on the web.

With that said, here are 7 tricks to starting your online business. A full and complete version can be found at the website below.

Tip: 1

Start small (investment) and learn your way through the mud. Find a business you can start for $20 or less.

Tip: 2

Find a mentor who you can rely on to bounce questions off their head almost anytime of day. This person will become much more than a mentor or friend, they will become your life-blood to online success. All of us have one or several of these people and they make that much of a difference.

Tip: 3

Knowledge and training kind of go hand in hand. You need to have access to a library of information that can help you learn how to market, where to market and what to pay for that marketing expense.

Tip: 4

When your computer is turned on, it is very easy to get lead astray. One simple email can take you off task. Before you turn on your compute, have a plan laid out that will help you stay on task and keep you in the trenches.

Tip: 5

Your business must include "add-on" products. Much like stacking a set of books one on top of each other, you need to find a business that allows you to add on products that will increase your income from one single personal contact. Your best customers will always be inclined to purchase more from you, as long as you have a quality product.

Tip: 6

Business tools if at all possible should be a covered expense by your company. Yes, you can start out selling for clickbank, but you better have your own website to do it with.

A good company will include all your business tools without you having to pay a dime for them. I am talking about a system which includes: web hosting, domain name, programming, SEO managing, maintenance, forum, training library, etc.

Tip: 7

You need "high in demand" products. Some of the best products are digital in nature. "How to" products are a hot commodity on and off the internet and if you find them, market them, you will make some good money, which leads me to.....

Tip: 8

Yes, I know I said 7 tricks but forgive me without adding. "GETTING PAID". That is the only reason to start an online business, correct?

You want to make some extra money. Let me ask you one simple question: Would rather be paid 20 commission or 100 commission. Currently we receive 100% commission from each product sale and we like it that way.

THE Dating Secret You Must Understand

Want to know why you are unsuccessful with women? It might masquerade as shyness, nerves, neediness, lack of style, bad breath, or body odor. Want to know the real answer?

Its simple and its true

Insecurity

I cover this in detail in my ebook, How To Get A Girlfriend, but for now lets accurately define security. Then, lets consider how this relates to being attractive. Lets also try to keep this simple, because this is a topic we cover at length in our products and consultations which takes time to get handled. Let me give you our definition of security:

A willingness to accept myself as I am, strengths and weaknesses and then the determination to work towards a healthy ideal for myself.

A man who is secure realizes his weaknesses, and then addresses them. Some weaknesses (better known as challenges) are tougher to handle than others. A patient, deliberate effort may have to follow.

If a guy has bad breath, for example, is it because he just ate a dish filled with garlic or does he suffer from gingivitis? If its the garlic causing the problem, his problem is easily remedied by a bit of time and some mouthwash. If he has gingivitis or halitosis, the challenge becomes larger and will take more time to surmount. (Although, he should carry some Cool Mint Listerine PocketPaks with him at all times)

A guy who is secure with himself likely never encounters a challenge like bad breath, or if he does, he handles it right away.

An insecure guy will be too lazy to take the action, or will unconsciously reject the reality that he has bad breath. His fragile self-esteem will not accept the information, thus he continues to create bad impressions on other people due to his own unwillingness.

This mini-example can translate to virtually any challenge which we encounter through our lives. Most guys live lives that are so out of balance, that a woman might initially like you, but when she eventually sees the chaos that follows you around (whether it be bad breath, flailing friendships, insecurity, lack of focus, endless hours surfing the web, messy apartment, the list goes on) she will never really see you as a viable companion because she knows, intuitively, and biologically, that you are not a man in the truest sense. You are not someone who can provide securitythusly you are not attractive to her.

Here is where we separate the men from the boys. The boys right now are thinking, This is a load of BS. A bunch of feel good jargon. This will never work for me. They are right, it never will until they decide to face their lives and live like a man.

A man sees this and realizes that it is time, now, to step up to the plate and take responsibility. He sees that he can get what is rightfully his. That time is now.

Women are seeking a man who is secure with himself, and is able to provide it to her consistently.

These men reflect it with everything they do they always seem to be in control, they are sensitive to the needs of the moment, they rise to the occasion, they have a focused purpose in their life, and are comfortable in their own skin.

Their life naturally validates them internally, and thusly, they feel complete.

They are attractive, naturally.

So, when you give that guy the ten magically perfect things to say to a woman, he only needs five, and even then he has overdone it

Let me be clear I am not saying that you have to be rich or to have fully realized all of your goals in order to be successful with women.

What I am saying is that it is critical to be on the path pursuing your goals. Men who live with passion and direction are magnets for women because they are attractive.

Quality women are desperate for men whose lives are focused, balanced, and filled with purpose.

In conclusion!:

The Single Most Perfect Piece Of Advice That I Can Give You Is: You Must Get Your Life In Order And Moving Forward To Have Anything Close To A Meaningful Relationship With A Quality Woman.

Thanks for your time guys, and best of luck!

Buying a new van is a big expense and you want to get it right. If you own or run a small business, then wasting money is the last thing you want to do, so it pays to take the time to research the range of vans and deals available.

Whether youre looking for a new van or a used vehicle, you can often find what youre looking for here. In addition, there may be people selling what you need privately, so take a look at the classified ads too.

Trade magazines there are journals and magazines that are dedicated to helping people find commercial vehicles. These publications often include reviews, road tests and news, so theres plenty of opportunity to read about the vans available and to compare performance and capacity between models.

Sweet Sixteen Parties? More like Sour Sixteen, if you Watch MTVs Reality Show

Its so great to boss people around.
It was awesome having cameras follow meIm awesome and I deserve it.
This is how it should be every time I enter a room. [teen as she is carried in on a litter]
I had to show people how rich I am.

Do these comments make you want to throw up? Of course, and whats worse, theyre real! These bratty statements are actual quotes from the latest MTV reality stars: girls and boys whose super-rich and apparently super-tactless parents give the little darlings anything they desire for their sweet sixteen parties. Throwing elaborate televised bashes that cost upwards of $200,000 and indulging every whim of their prince or princess, the parents show who rules the household (the kids) and what really matters (getting your fifteen minutes however you can, in this case, by buying it). What a great life lesson: If youve got it, flaunt it, and its okay to trash people in your quest for pseudo-fame. These kids make Paris Hilton and Omarosa look like beacons of etiquette and accomplishment.

Sure, MTVs newest reality show, My Super Sweet Sixteen, which premiered last January, is designed to be over the top and outrageous. Thats the whole point. Its the reality TV equivalent of a bloody train wreck: You are appalled, but you just cant avert your eyes. The kids are so obnoxious and so clueless as to how awful they sound, that you stay glued to your tube just to see what horrifyingly selfish thing theyll say or do next.

Never seen the show? It centers around a spoiled teen or two, trailing them as they plan their sweet sixteen party, make outrageous, selfish demands, shed tears, throw tantrums, and torture their peers with lines like, Youre not important enough to be invited. Oh, and then theres footage of the actual party, where the guest of honor may enter riding on a litter, behind the wheel of a luxury car, pulled by horses, or shuttled in a helicopter. The featured entertainment might be Kanye West, Ciara, Rihanna, or Diddy, the king of nouveau rich tasteless excess himself, to name a few. At the end of the night, the kids are presented with sweet sixteen gifts such as luxury vehicles (some get two!), jewelry and even homes. Their overindulgent, self-satisfied parents, portrayed to be every bit as awful as their kidsthe truth, or the result of careful editing we dont knowgloat in the background. I guess money cant buy happiness, but it sure can by popularity.

Before you get too jealous of these pampered kids, consider how tough they have it, with their every whim catered to, their every foot-stamping demand met. As one teen put it, Being rich is hard work! Indeed.

The materialism and extravagance of MTVs show is a far cry from what the average teen can expect. Thank goodness, or wed have a nation of brats, which couldnt be farther from the truth. (TIME magazines Anne Marie Cox wrote of MTVs teens in a recent article, Their blingy flings are not celebrations of accomplishment; theyre celebrations of self.) Even debutantes, those clichd well-to-do southern belles, hold a coming out ball ostensibly not to show off, but to be formally introduced to polite society. Whats more, these debutante balls are often charity occasions, in which the parents of the young ladies, as well as all attending, must contribute a certain sum of money to the cause at hand, according to Wikipedia.

Maybe MTV could take the hintbut doing good works doesnt make for good TV; spoiled, privileged, selfish brats do. Indeed, Cox says, What used to mark the end of childhood now seems only an excuse to prolong the whiny, self-centered greediness that gives infantile a bad name. Far from joining polite society like the debutants of the past, the kids gleefully rip through social graces, alienating friends and sacrificing tact all in the name of creating a VIP room filled with people too young to drive themselves home. Yuck.

So whats the parent of a teen to do when he or she doesnt have a few extra hundred thou lying around? How about inviting a few close friends and family for an intimate, meaningful sweet sixteen party? Make the day extra special by presenting your teen with some nice traditional sweet sixteen presents that wont break the bank, will be appreciated and wont be tossed aside the moment something better comes along. Here are some timeless sweet sixteen gift ideas to celebrate this important right of passage for a child who actually deserves the recognition:

Pearl Necklace: This timeless classic can carry your teen from high school to college to her first job and even to her wedding. Shell treasure it and pass it on to her daughter some day. Round freshwater strands are affordable and can rival the quality of saltwater akoyas.

Pearl Ring: Another timeless treasure, the pearl ring is sweet and demureand unique. Unlike a diamond ring, which has wedding connotations, or a gold ring, which can be too flashy, a pearl ring gets just the right kind of attention.

Pearl Jewelry Set: Why not get her a complete pearl jewelry set? Shell be ensured of having a matching bracelet, pearl earrings and a pearl necklace that she can mix and match for any occasion.

Diamond Studs: A little pricey, but worth it, as diamond studs are a jewelry staple shell wear forever. If responsibility isnt your teens strongpoint, CZ studs can look just as good, and at $40 or so a pop, it wont matter much if she loses them.

Charm Bracelet: A teen favorite for decades, charm bracelets are special because they can be personalized. Add a slipper charm for your ballerina, a horseshoe for your equestrian, a pearl charm for a June birthday girl keep adding charms on every special occasion and soon shell have an unforgettable keepsake.

Frame: A beautiful frame made of brushed stainless steel, wood or mother-of-pearl makes a great gift. To personalize it, fill it with a photo of you and the teen, a poem that reminds you of her, or her birthday horoscope.

For boys, magazine subscriptions and gift certificates to the teens favorite store, or even sixteen of something (16 CDs or 16 movie passes, for example), can make the day special. Best of all? No Diddy required.

Maramures - A Travel Guide To Romania 's Region Of Wooden Churches

There are many regions in this world that are worth a visit, and very often we Europeans tend to travel overseas to see something exotic, or visit people who still lead a life that perhaps our grandfathers knew. Rarely it occurs to us that it is not always necessary to travel far to be able to experience "time travel".

Maramures in northern Romania is one such little known corner of Europe. Amid beautiful rolling hills and lush river valleys live people who for the most part still follow the traditional agrarian way of life. Their life might seem hard and simple and it is a millenarian fight against the weather, to grow the crops, to raise the animals, to work from dawn until sunset without the many mechanized and electronic comforts we think are essential. But, that life can be rewarding in all its simplicity, as each day shows the results of work, and family and friends guarantee that there are often reasons for celebration. The seasonal festivities, like Christmas and Easter or local festivals and weddings, have retained their real value of breaking the everyday routine, and feasting lasts several days and is done with gusto.

Why is the region considered unique and those who have been there want to return? The answer is a mixture of three things: amazing landscapes, genuine people and the simple civilization of wood, with the famous wooden churches whose towers can be seen from far. The nature, people, houses and churches are spiritually connected and have maintained this link to the present.

But most of all is the uniqueness of the architecture is the inclusion of eight wooden churches in UNESCO's World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. These churches are the church of the Presentation of the Virgin at the Temple in Barsana, the church of Saint Nicholas in Budesti, the church of Saint Parasceva in Desesti, the church of the Birth of the Holy Virgin in Ieud Deal, the church of the Holy Archangels in Plopis, the church of Saint Parasceva in Poienile Izei, the church of the Holy Archangels in Rogoz, and the church of the Holy Archangels in Surdesti.

Our guidebook: Maramures - A Travel Guide to Romania 's Region of Wooden Churches is an excellent full-color book on a wide variety of cultural heritage subjects from mural paintings and archaeology to architecture and local traditions. It also gives practical information and tips on travel to and in Romania, what to see, where to stay, what to buy and to eat, to get the most of Maramures.

Why a guidebook and not another type of book? Because we consider that a cultural guidebook addresses those who, while enjoying a memorable holiday, can also help such a special region develop and maintain its specificity and character. To assure the preservation regions like Maramures, it is necessary that they do not fall into total oblivion. It is necessary that the young people can remain, find work and live there with their families, while being at the same time aware of the importance of their inheritance. Cultural tourism can be a mutual investment that can bear fruit for everyone. The visitor's joy and the host's joy are both real experiences.

We hope that you will enjoy your travel to Maramures!

Earn Cash Writing Articles - Easy as 1-2-3

Article writing is as easy as 1-2-3!

1) The opening paragraph gives your qualifications or grabs the reader and almost compels him or her to read further.

2) Your article will contain just two or three facts.

Fact 1) Perfect grammar is not a necessity.

Fact 2) The number of words in the typical article.

Fact 3) Separate each paragraph.

3) The closing paragraph summarizes the article and provides a link to your site.

Many people are reluctant to write articles because they think its too difficult. Thats nonsense. Article writing is actually quite easy once you know the three-step formula (above). Others are reluctant to write because they do poorly with grammar or spelling. Do you need to use perfect grammar in your articles? Certainly not, but some sites will refuse to print your work if it is riddled with errors. Fortunately, there is a way around this for those that are grammatically challenged. Most of the word processors available today come with a spelling AND grammar checker. You should make full use of both of these features.

The ideal article contains just 500-600 words. Many submission sites will not accept articles with less than 500 words and will refuse those with more than 1000 words. In addition, it is sometimes difficult to keep a readers interest if it is over 700 or 800 words. (They didnt come to the site to read a novel.) For that reason, I try to make sure that all of my articles have around 500 words.

Break your article up into a number of different paragraphs and separate each one by a space. This makes your article more pleasing to the eye. This is important because your readers will make his or her first judgment about your article based on the way it looks. And like anything else, you want your reader to have a good first impression.

Your first paragraph or two should tell the reader about your qualifications or entice him or her to read further. This is called the hook. In this piece, we are using a hook instead of the qualifications. Our hook lets the reader know that there is a formula to writing articles and we will divulge this information in the article.

The next paragraph or two should discuss the facts, information, or points you wish to make. Each of these paragraphs should discuss the benefits as well as features. The benefits will grab the reader and let him know why it is important to him.

Close the article with an offer for more information by clicking your link. I prefer to use a free information offer as many more people will click through for a free report. A Brief History Of Cheesecake

Whats your favorite birthday cake? For me, nothing beats cheesecake. In fact, I cant imagine what the world was like before cheesecake was created!

Turns out, youd have to search back pretty far to find a time when the Earth was cheesecake free. In fact, way back in 776 BC, long before the first Cheesecake Factory opened, the Greeks are said to have served cheesecake to the athletes at the first Olympic games. The Romans soon caught on and spread the divine taste of cheesecake throughout Europe. From there it was only a matter of time before European immigrants brought their cherished cheesecake recipes to America.

It seems that every region of the globe has embraced cheesecake in one form or another, adapting the recipe to local tastes and adding local flavors. In America, cheesecakes are typically made with a cream cheese base, but even here we vary the recipe by region. New York cheesecake is famous for its ultra-smooth texture and decadently rich flavor achieved by adding extra egg yolks and a hint of lemon and youll find other regional variations from Chicago-style to Pennsylvania Dutch. Many American bakers add sour cream for a creamy cheesecake that can be frozen without compromising taste or texture.

Italian cheesecakes generally use ricotta cheese, which makes them drier than their American cousins. The French prefer Neufchatel cheese and often add gelatin for a light and airy consistency. The Greeks might use ricotta, mizithra, farmers, feta, Swiss, or a combination of cheeses, while the Germans typically rely on cottage cheese or quark. The Japanese incorporate cornstarch and whipped egg whites into their cheesecakes for a more custard-like effect, and Ive even heard you can find cheesecake in vending machines in Japan. Now why didnt I think of that?

Youd be hard pressed to find a culture that doesnt or didnt enjoy a good cheesecake. Culinary historians cite cheesecake recipes dating back to the first century AD, with additional recipes floating around from the centuries that followed. Youll find every imaginable flavor and topping in todays cheesecake recipes, but the basic premise, baking creamy cheese with wheat and sweetener, has stood the test of time.

And lets not forget savory cheesecakes featuring blue cheese, garlic, seafood, chiles, and other tasty cheese-friendly flavors, or vegan versions of cheesecake-like desserts made with tofu. With so many varieties, youd need a lot more than a Cheesecake of the Month club to sample them all!

Clearly, cheesecake has lived long and continues to prosper. Whether its a birthday cake, anniversary treat, or just a Make-Everyday-Special indulgence, cheesecake is an ancient delight that will never go out of style!

Cheesecake aficionado Nick Watson believes that researching the history of cheesecake is a great way to perfect your own cheesecake recipe. Find the perfect birthday cake with a http://www.sayitwithcheesecake.com!Rachel Blog32614

Travel Tips for the Holiday Season

Ah, holiday travel. The packed airplanes, the crowded airports, the high ticket prices: theres nothing quite like traveling in December to make you long for January.. From waiting in a long security line, to having your luggage filled with the Christmas presents for your new in-laws delivered to Ohio as you land in Oklahoma, traveling over the holidays can be a real pain. Tis the season to go crazy.

However, holiday travel doesnt have to be a nightmare. With a few tips and a little effort, things may go smoother than you thought possible. So, put your tray tables up and heed the following advice on traveling during December.

Be Nice to Airport Employees

As soon as you enter an airport, democratic values fly out the window; here, the airport employees have absolute power. It may be easy to get angry with them - youre already running late and you dont have time to wait - but keep in mind that they are doing the best they can: they want you up in the air and out of their hair as much as you do. Being nice and courteous to an airport employee or being rude and unfair could mean the difference between an upgrade or a cavity search.

Fly During Odd Hours

The holidays are the busiest time of the year for airports: everyone has somewhere to go. While there is no way around this fact, there is a way around the majority of the crowds: fly during non peak hours. Flying very early or very late may seen a bit inconvenient, as you could arrive at your destination in the middle of the night, but it will save you so much hustle and bustle that it might just be worth it. The tickets will probably be cheaper too.

Bring a Book or Ten

One of the things that is most stressed at the airport during the holidays is patience: there will definitely be waiting involved. While some people pass this time by tapping their fingers on escalator railings, glancing at their watches, and growing increasingly agitated, one of the best ways to practice patience is with a new book. Youll still have to wait, but with something to engage you, you just might not mind as much.

Give Security a Break

Security lines at the airport can be frustrating. From taking off your shoes to bagging your liquids, it may seem as though the security lines are walking a fine line between safety and privacy. However, keep in mind that airport security was put in place for one reason alone: to save peoples lives. Saving lives trumps inconvenience, as it well should. So, give the security people a break and help them out by not wearing objects that will trigger the alarm, removing your coats and jackets, turning on your laptops, and wearing shoes that can be easily removed and placed back on.

Bribe Your Children

The only thing worse than traveling over the holidays is traveling with children over the holidays. When it comes to kids, patience is not a virtue. Because of this, children become easily agitated, upset over having to wait in lines or being stuck in an airport with nothing to do. In order to keep your kids happy - and keep them from driving you crazy - keep them entertained. For younger kids, something as simple as a coloring book may suffice, while the older kids may need a handheld video game or an IPOD to keep them appeased. When all else fails, remind your kids that Santa is particularly observant at the airport: its in their best interest to behave.

Ship Your Presents

Many people have an aversion to shipping their holiday presents, afraid that the post office will send the wrong package to the wrong house. But, placing presents in luggage and checking your bags can also cause these gifts to travel to the wrong destination.. If the present is small enough that you can carry it on, then do so. But, for presents that are too big to be carried, ship them beforehand. Not only will you not have to make room in your suitcase for a present - asking the contents of your bag to suck in as you attempt to zip it shut - but you also wont have to deal with the gifts at the airport: youll have enough to deal with as it is.

Holiday travel is enough to make anyone think that they skys the limit when it comes to their temper. But, with a little planning and a little patience holiday travel doesnt have to be that stressful. Just relax, think ahead and remember that Santa knows when your sleeping, he knows when youre awake, and he knows when youre flipping off the man behind the registration desk at Delta.

How To Recruit Foreign Nurses

Starting or expanding your temporary medical staffing agency to recruit foreign nurses remains one of the most lucrative and highly sought after endeavors. Recruiting foreign nurses can be profitable, yet the barrier to entry remains high. The barriers remain high partly because the costs and time are your biggest hurdles. Overcoming these barriers results in a profitable and sought after service.

Lets examine some of the key processes a medical staffing agency needs to obtain to recruit foreign nurses.

H-1B VISA

The H-1B visa allows foreign nurses to be employed by a U.S. employer.

The basic requirement to obtain a qualified position in the U.S by an employer are that the candidate must posses the equivalent of at least a U.S. Bachelors Degree, as well as experience in the field for which approval is sought.

The time allowed to remain in the U.S.is 6 years. However, the H visa is specifically exempt from the presumption of immigrant intent.

* A job offer must be in place.

* Make sure you file a Labor Condition Attestation with the U.S. Department of Labor

* Wage survey conducted by the local state employment agency.

* I-129H petition by INS

If a nurse comes to the U.S.A on a green card rather than an H-1B Visa, they may be able to stay permanently.

EB-3

The EB-3 is what allows a medical staffing agency to recruit foreign nurses to the USA on permanent resident status. The process currently takes approximately 8 to 12 months.

TN Status

Allows Canadian and Mexican nurses to work in the U.S... under NAFTA.

To qualify for TN Status

* Be a nurse

* Be licensed in the state you will work in the U.S

* Proof of original country citizenship

* Pay small fee.

Make sure the following are completed before your begin to recruit foreign nurses.

1. Make sure that the nurse has proof of diploma from originating country.

2. Make sure Nurse has a license from originating country

3. The nurse must pass the examination given by the Commission on Graduates of

Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS).

4. Nurse must posses a license to practice in the state of intended employment.

5. If a hospital requests to immigrate an RN is exempt from having to submit an

application for alien labor certification to the DOL or to a State Employment Security

Agency.

How does the process work?

The employer must submit an immigrant visa petition (Form I0140) to the office of the immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). The petition must be submitted specific to the state on intended employment.

Make sure to also include forms ETA-750A and B from the Labor Department. The petition must also include a fee. The process takes between 6 to 8 months.

http://vismedical.com/Books/msebook.html

The entire process can be complicated and may seem daunting and overwhelming for many new medical staffing agencies. The above information is not meant to be legal advice to the process of recruiting foreign nurses. The information allows for a broader overview of the process of recruiting foreign nurses.

Family Resorts In The Caribbean

The Caribbean has become a well known standard for family vacations. There is so much enjoyment to be had and usually contains resorts with a lot of features for the family. You can usually get the following items in a family package

* Deluxe swimming pools with water slides
* Water sports and the beach
* Programs for kids and activities for a family
* Drinks on tap and convenient meal times
* Pampering services for adults such as dining, cocktail parties and spas to name a few
* Good rates for a family
* Services such as babysitting

There are so many Caribbean all inclusive family travel resorts available today and considering you are spending your hard earned money and you are taking your whole family you want to choose the best one that fits your needs.

When a package advertises as all inclusive, it doesnt necessarily mean everything. You do get snacks and meals, kids programs and drinks, some water sports among other things but not everything. Consider the following

* Water sports like kayaks, wind surfing and aquatrikes are included but things like water skis and jet skis and anything else that is motorized can cost extra.

* You can usually do some snorkeling but there may be a time limit to the gear and if you desire to sign up for a boat trip you may have to pay for it.

* Scuba usually ends up being extra

* The spas are extra most of the time unless you go on a special Caribbean travel deal

* There are certain non all inclusive packages that have meals and activities included

* If you travel out of the resort you will cost you but usually there is a shuttle or a town within walking distance.

Kids Club

The all inclusive family packages offer clubs which consist of one or two rooms filled with toys, a TV and sometimes video games for ages four to twelve. A friendly experienced staff is on hand to supervise them. You can find this on almost all packages; they vary in age group and programs. Some examples of Caribbean family travel specials that offer this service are Beach resorts, Atlantis in the Bahamas and Club Med in Punta Cana.

Babies and Toddlers

It is easier to find infant care and nurseries on many Caribbean travel resorts these days. It is a helpful thing for a parent because you can take a little break for yourself and leave your child taking a nap in the nursery.

There are nurses and doctors on site in the bigger travel resorts so check them out first if that is your concern. And double check the resort before you go to make sure that they have a baby club running during the time you will be there.

Travel, More Than The Home Court, Is The Key Factor In NBA Betting

With the exception of talent, when it comes to NBA betting, the most important factor to consider is the home court, right?

Well, not exactly.

Actually, there's not much difference in courts. They're all made of wood and while the court logos are of varying colors, designs and questionable tastes, all have a 10-foot basket at each end. Supposedly, there's some advantage to "knowing the rims" but since metal mostly comes into play on missed shots and no one deliberately tries to miss, it's difficult to see where the advantage lies. Yes, we know from a rudimentary 10th grade course in physics that longer shots produce longer rebounds but the direction of the carom is based more on the trajectory of the shot than anything to do with the condition of the rims.

Another supposed advantage of the home court is the local fans. But it's hard to accept the notion that professionals, who balk at signing autographs unless they're paid, are motivated by the very same people they so willingly shun. Besides, what did all that ranting and raving by Spike Lee at Madison Square Garden ever do for New York? Reggie Miller still did the right thing by the Pacers and destroyed the Knicks.

The final alleged advantage of playing at home is that players gain some sort of "comfort level" from sleeping in their own beds. Excuse me, but weren't you paying attention to the Gold Club trial in Atlanta a few years ago? Based on the evidence, it seems that many a player readily would relinquish a night under his own satin sheets if an, ahem, "dancer" were made available for some companionship.

That being said, there is an advantage to playing at home but it has little to do with the court, the fans or the sleeping conditions. It has everything to do with getting to the court.

Clear and simple, visiting teams are disadvantaged most by travel, a factor we touched on but did not fully explore in a previous article. In fact, how far a team has to travel, how many time zones it crosses, the direction it travels and how many games it's forced to play in a given number of nights are crucial elements in both NBA oddsmaking and NBA betting.

Remember how tired and out of synch you were after a cross Atlantic flight? Now try running six miles (the average distance a basketball player runs in a game) in a different venue, three out of four or four out of six nights and see how it impacts your athletic performance. NBA betting pros understand that no team can be up for every game, that fatigue can become a significant factor, and pointspreads often grow in proportion to the length of a road trip.

It's also worth noting that it's more difficult on the body to travel against the sun, or west to east, than it is to go east to west. So, NBA teams based in the Western and Rocky Mountain Time Zones often are disadvantaged more by long road trips than are teams in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. One way they overcome this handicap is by flying all the way east to start the road trip then work their way back west.

Oddsmakers and NBA betting experts not only consider the journey of the road team but also note whether the home team has been stationed in familiar confines for a period of time or is itself just returning from a lengthy trip.

Often overlooked by the casual player, savvy bettors understand that it's always important to check the schedule.

Interestingly, despite playing 82 home games to gain one extra postseason home date in a series, the home court means less in the playoffs than it does during the regular season. Generally, that's because teams in a post-season series have similar travel itineraries. For example, if San Antonio and Sacramento are set to square off in a best-of-seven series beginning in Texas, once the Kings visit the Spurs for the initial two games in the series, the teams will have similar travel schedules, flying to Northern California within hours of each other. That also will be the case if a return flight to San Antonio is needed to finish the series. The sameness of travel mitigates the home court advantage.

Yes, talent counts in NBA betting, but cagey bettors also understand that its important to check those schedules before placing a wager.

Hello From Orlando: A Walk Through Winter Park - A Hint Of New England In Florida

Just a few minutes north of downtown Orlando awaits Winter Park, a charming picturesque suburb steeped in history. After my excursion on the Scenic Boat Tour, my local expert Wanda Salerno took me on a little walk through town past beautiful historic neighbourhoods.

With is origins as a citrus growing region, Winter Park became a major destination for wealthy northerners during the early 1900s, who came into town by train to reach their elegant winter retreats, seeking shelter from the cold winters of the north. Elegant mansions and and stately old oak trees draped with Spanish moss bear witness to this historic era.

Wanda then took me through some of Winter Park's hidden courtyards, which are filled with specialty retail stores and galleries. Winter Park features a large variety of galleries and I had a chance to sample three of them, all of which carried vastly different artwork:

- Scott Laurent Collections
- Native Visions Gallery
- Timothy's

Our walk took us out on to Winter Park's main street, Park Avenue, which houses 10 blocks of specialty retailers, galleries and ecclectic restaurants. Park Avenue is flanked on its west side by Central Park which offers a welcome sanctuary of relaxation with its graceful fountain, walking paths and shaded benches.

We then went on to explore Casa Feliz ("Happy House" in Spanish), the signature residential work of renowned architect James Gamble Rogers II.

In 1932 Robert Bruce Barbour, a chemical engineer from Massachusetts, commissioned Rogers to design a home on Lake Osceola, which turned out to be the Andalusian-style masonry farmhouse that we see today. This home was not only cherished by Barbour, but by the community as well. Throughout its history, it has hosted garden club tours, symphony orchestra concerts, poetry social meetings and a dinner for author Sinclair Lewis.

In 2001, in order to prevent the house from demolition, Casa Feliz was moved across Interlachen Avenue to its present location on Park Avenue. This move was one of the most dramatic events in Winter Park's history. Casa Feliz was transported on 20 pneumatically levelled dollies, and an elaborate pulley system moved the house about 75 feet per hour. After the house was in position at its new location, skilled craftsmen worked on restoring it to its original 1933 condition. A special landscape design was commissioned to reflect the style of the era.

Today, Casa Feliz is available to rent for weddings, parties, business meetings and events. Its unique features provide the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable event.

As a centre of local culture, Winter Park also features three well-known museums:

- the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American art, which holds the world's most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, including Tiffanys 1893 Chapel. The museum also features paintings, furniture and other works primarily from the late 19th and 20th centuries.

- the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden: 3 acres of gardens, featuring sculptures and painters by Albin Polasek. The museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

- the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, which focuses on western world art of the 20th century and includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and other art from America and Europe. This museum is located at Rollins College, one of the top rated liberal arts colleges in the country.

The Winter Park Historical Museum examines various historic time periods, interchanging exhibits and rotating displays highlight some of the changes that have occurred in central Florida.

While I explored the town my husband actually played a round of golf at the 9-hole Winter Park Country Club, which is nestled beautifully inside Winter Park's historic neighbourhood. The WPCC is the second oldest golf club in the Central Florida area and makes its way through the downtown Winter Park area and provides a challenge to even the most experienced golfer. He enjoyed his outing, and a cost of $12, it was an extremely affordable outing on a well-maintained golf course.

We capped off our excursion with an enjoyable dinner at a restaurant called 310 Park Avenue, right on Winter Park's main strip. While a good portion of the Orlando area is very new, Winter Park is a welcome oasis of history and ambience that is perfect for a day of exploring.

Private Jet Charters - The Finest Way To Travel

Private jet charters, no wonder, offer one of the finest options, which is available for frequent travelers and passengers looking to avoid the slugging formalities of conventional flights. As one would assume, special things come at a special price. Private jet charters are not cheap in any way, but the benefits that they present make it worthwhile of the price.

If we can analyze the factors that contribute the compensation of the price value, the first thing that will come to our mind is the availability of the aircraft to fly in-and-out of almost any airport in the USA. It is pleasantly surprising to know that private jets have access to more than 5,000 airports in the U.S. and Europe! Secondly, the flights are pre-planned and there is no time wasted in clearing the papers, and other formalities. This comes along with the fact that you would have better cabin experience!

There are some sundry items that make private jet charters a luxury. Some of these include making sure that the quality of food is at par with restaurant food; the qualified and trained staff caters to small group of passengers; and most importantly you do not have any stop overs in between destinations, which helps in saving a lot of time.

Services offered to private jet charter travelers

Now that we have briefly considered that some sundry features make private jet charters a luxury for the travelers apart from the main attracting features, we venture to learn more about the special services that are available to travelers who opt for private jet charter services.

The food quality is one of the major points in aviation, and private jet charters have the upper hand in it. Most private jet companies employ favorite chefs cooking the food and maintaining the quality of the food up to the standards of a reputed physical restaurant. The availability of space and food quality make it a pleasure for business travelers to opt for private jet charters.

Business travelers are free to hold meetings within the plane, enjoy time with their families, and prepare for important business proceedings such as seminars, presentations, etc. Time is considered to be most important in any business, and this is what private jet charters help in achieving. This option saves a lot of time.

At the end we can say that private jet charters are a beautiful option available in two modes: you can own a private jet or rent it for your various types of purposes. Private jets do provide ease, security, time-saving, and luxurious options for traveling, whether you want to go for frequent business trips or want to spend some time-off with your family while going on vacations.

Uranium Demand Showing Price Weakness

Nuclear Market Review (NMR) editor Treva Klingbiel reported in this weeks issue, Two sellers that were evaluating bids in response to their auctions have concluded their evaluations and have decided not to sell at this time. She added, Both sellers preferred to make delivery in June while most bidders were seeking delivery for several months out. The U3O8 Weekly Spot Price Indicator, as published in NMR, remained unchanged at US$138/pound.

While spot U3O8 transactions could remain in the $130 to $150/pound range for a while longer, it appears that increased supply in proportion to market demand could lead to a temporary price hiccup. We cautioned of this possibility in early January of this year.

According to the NUEXCO/TradeTech Exchange Value for monthly uranium spot, the last U3O8 spot price decline took place in May 2003

Traders have backed off the past few weeks. General discontent through the utility industry suggests spot U3O8 needs to take a breather.

In an April 12th interview with Dr. Robert Rich, he warned of a price adjustment. But, he also told us at the time, The minute buyers see things go down, they are going to flock back into the market, and say, Okay, we knew this was going to happen. Now, we buy. The utility consumers will come back into the market like lemmings, and buy up anything available. The next thing you know, theres another spike.

Is the Blended Fuel Value

Pointing to a Uranium Price Decline?

In an eye-opening interview with Joe McCourt on May 21st, we learned about his companys proprietary Blended Fuel Value (BFV). McCourt told us, The BFV calculates the weighted average price of uranium held by all publicly traded funds as a function of the fund share price. The upward and downward price movement of the BFV reflects North American and European investors sentiments on the current spot price of physical uranium.

Until this past April, the BFV has traded well above the weekly spot uranium price indicators, published by either TradeTech or Ux Consulting. For the week, the BFV has traded a whopping $19/pound BELOW the price indicators.

According to Joe McCourt, who writes in this weeks FreshFUEL, The value of the BFV should be about $6 higher than spot U3O8 to account for the cost of underwriting and distributing the shares of the fund. Currently, the BFV is about triple that amount lower than the spot price.

McCourt refers to his BFV as a measure of plebian wisdom. He concluded, Currently, that wisdom is indicating that the legacy prices have moved too high, too quickly.

After the Price Hiccup?

If Uranium Participation Corp (TSX: U) is a proxy for the spot uranium price, then we might see the price hiccup we forecast to take place between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

What would precipitate the temporary price decline?

In a news release issued this past week, United Steelworkers International (USW) president Leo W. Gerard called upon the U.S. Department of Commerce to continue including SWU (Separative Work Units) contracts in the 15-year-old suspension agreement with Russias Rosatom.

Gerard wrote, There has been evidence the agreement falls short of covering both forms of imported uranium (LEU and SWU), potentially flooding the American market with imports. He added, It could also force the shutdown of domestic production making the U.S. totally dependent on foreign sources.

At this time, the U.S. imports about 90 percent of the enriched uranium used to power the countrys 103 nuclear reactors. Only U.S. Enrichment Corporation (NYSE: USU) converts and enriches uranium in the United States.

If through some loophole, Russia does flood the market or if speculators perceive this is possible, then this event could begin a price decline.

Or does this have something to with the major Australian uranium producers in concert with the large Canadian producers?

This claim was brought forward to us by Michael D. Campbell, chairman of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Uranium Committee, in a news release he sent to StockInterview.com.

Campbell suggests that recent statements made by Australias Macquarie Bank about falling uranium prices are meant for the purpose of inhibiting investment in new uranium production, which in turn would tend to protect the large producers and support higher prices over the long term. Campbell asserts, This would be a return to cartel conditions exerted by major Canadian and Australian producers while the prices were low during the 1980s through 2005

In a June 22nd Metals Morning Note, Salman Partners Raymond Goldie wrote, If youre holding a junior uranium company thinking that Cameco (NYSE: CCJ) will take it over think again! Goldie explained in his desk note, Yesterday, Cameco Corporation held meetings in Saskatchewan with the investment community Cameco believes that the juniors are being valued at prices that would not create value for Camecos shareholders. Management implied that it is waiting for a dip in uranium prices and a resulting much sharper drop in the prices of the juniors.

In any case, we do not believe in a sustained price decline of either spot or long-term uranium. For quite some time, we have been concerned about the chasm between the spot and long-term uranium price. A US$40-plus divergence between spot U3O8 and long-term pricing is not sustainable.

Based upon weakened buying in the spot market, the stalled spot uranium price and the divergence, we anticipate a near-term decline in the spot market.

In our CD-ROM publication, Uranium Outlook 2007 2008, we explained that a short-term uranium price decline would most greatly impact those junior uranium companies who have not yet delineated an asset. This appears to be the gospel Cameco is now espousing. The field is crowded and unlikely to continue further expansion.

For the long-term, Michael Campbell foresees uranium prices fluctuating between US$80 and $100/pound. He believes the high price should stay that way past 2020, unless there were a serious nuclear accident, a number of large uranium discoveries, a series of large-capacity uranium mines online or the broad utilization of international fuel recycling.

We disagree with uranium price peaks forecast by 2009 suggested by Lehman and Macquarie. Over the past year, we found a comparable price scenario in molybdenum. Although numerous analysts were forecasting US$10 to $15/pound in this silvery-white metal, we insisted the molybdenum price would rise beyond US$30/pound in 2007 and rally higher during 2008 and later. Ferromolybdenum was recently offered at US$37/pound while molybdenum oxide remains well above US$30.

The problem with metals, U3O8 and other natural resource pricing forecasts is Chinas metals and energy consumption. We covered this in our recent publication, Investing in Chinas Energy Crisis.

Take Alcoa (NYSE: AA) as a case in point.

This past Thursday, Alcoa Australia director of projects Craig Walkemeyer warned that the companys Australian operations might have a problem with expansion plans because of natural gas prices. In the last year, (gas) prices have doubled and its becoming increasingly difficult to secure competitively priced long-term contracts.

Three Western Australia refineries supply 13 percent of the worlds alumina requirements. A natural gas shortage could impact Australian alumina production. Western Australias bauxite deposits are lower grade than elsewhere in the world, but low-cost energy has kept the region competitive. This edge has been eroded by the energy crisis of Australias largest consumer of its alumina China.

In the past year, Chinas natural gas consumption jumped by 20 percent.

In May 2006, the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo was loaded for delivery to Chinas Guandong LNG terminal. This commenced the 25-year trade relationship Australias Woodside (ASX: WPL) and a Chinese LNG company. Four years earlier, China had signed to buy 3.3 million tonnes of LNG annually over 25 years from Australias largest natural gas deposit, North West Shelf. This was Australias largest single trade deal.

The key points for making this comparison are:

China can and will consume far more energy and metals than most analysts are willing to admit

Beliefs in sustained price corrections for energy components, such as oil, natural gas and uranium, are based in fantasy

There is a remarkable inter-connection between Chinas energy crisis and any metal or energy component, which this country will consume in order to maintain its double-digit GDP growth.

Whether it is alumina, natural gas, uranium, molybdenum, manganese or nickel, price declines represent buying opportunities in those commodities

With regards to Alcoa, China will likely pay the piper and pay a higher price for alumina, after having helped double the gas prices in Western Australia.

Another concern expressed by Alcoas Australian director was labor shortages.

Labor shortages and environmentalists should continue to sustain the uranium price over the longer term. Short-term declines might come about because of a loss in speculator frenzy but not for fundamental reasons.

And environmentalists should also include terrorists. These should be regarded as an extreme form of environmentalism. But, they are generally arguing about the same problem.

In the western United States and in southern Australia, there are worries about availability of groundwater. Environmentalists in those areas argue that new uranium mines must not be put into production because of water issues. In Darfur (Sudan, Africa), scarcity of water was the trigger for extreme violence and the ongoing genocide.

In Niger one of the top five uranium producing countries, water supply is an issue. Recent attacks by rebels in Niger were precipitated by broken promises about water. In April, Tuareng rebels were suspected of attacking the Imouraren uranium mine, owned by an Areva subsidiary.

One of the drivers sustaining the Nigerian rebels who wish to emancipate the Niger River Delta is the pollution taking place in ljawland, as the delta is called by the 43 clans residing in this region. Threats to blow up the pipeline are baseless because they do not wish to further pollute the delta.

All three regions we selected are in Africa a continent which could conceivably become the worlds largest uranium producer before 2020. The continent is also a major source of other energy supplies and metals (coal, manganese, chromium, crude oil and natural gas).

We have closely monitored many of the global developments in uranium production. There are problems with nearly every forecast we have reviewed by any and all current and near-term uranium producers. Forecasts are forward-looking statements, which are protected by Safe Harbor disclaimers. Mining a deposit is something else, and it is heavily regulated. Enforcing regulations takes time, and the greater the number of projects which proceed to mines will create additional labor shortage stresses for not only the uranium mining space but the regulators who oversee and approve these projects.

And then there is the unexpected, as we have witnessed over the past year with Camecos Cigar Lake or ERAs flooding. These wont be the last.

Collectively, ongoing issues with uranium mining, and in every step of the nuclear fuel cycle, should prevent a return to the uranium price some analysts have begun to forecast over the foreseeable future.

Finding Personal Car Registration Plates for British Vehicle Owners

>From the clothes we wear and the way we decorate our homes to the type of music we listen to, many aspects of our lives demonstrate our own tastes and personalities. More and more motorists are choosing to carry on this trend onto their otherwise standard vehicles by finding personal registration plates for their cars. In their simplest form a British car registration is used to identify vehicles on our roads. However in a more exciting and popular light, a car registration can personalize our vehicles and enable us to make our individual mark on our cars. Over 3500 new car registrations are sold each week in the UK and this number continues to rise.

Since the introduction of the internet, finding personal car registration plates for British vehicle owners is incredibly easy. With an average of 30 millions car registrations available at any one time, number plate dealers provide easy to navigate websites to narrow down your search as quickly as possible. Vehicle registration numbers are available in many formats including dateless number plates, suffix and prefix car registrations and the new style of British car registrations that the DVLA currently issue.

When finding car registration plates there are countless personal ideas to search for. Visit http://www.capeplates.co.uk/ for search tips on personal car registrations for the British public. Many personal car registration numbers on todays roads read peoples names or initials. Name plates account for some of the most expensive number plates on the market and many are worth several thousand pounds. Thankfully cheaper alternatives are available and the majority of people who are finding personal car registrations opt for a car registration plate with their initials. This difference in price occurs because there are many combinations of initials available however with name plates there is just one perfect combination. Thousands of car registration numbers are now available for under 300.

Other popular searches when finding personal car registration plates are numbers relating to a date of birth or lucky and sacred numbers such as 7, 888 and 786. Many businesses also purchase vehicle registration for fleet cars and delivery vans to attract attention on the roads with a piece of unique advertising. Business car registration plates could read the company name, managers initials or words relating to their industry. Pimlico Plumbers in London are no strangers to this with their highly amusing and valuable collection of plumbing related car registration numbers. They own vehicle registrations such as LAV 1, BOG 1, W4 TER and DRA 1N amongst many others, all of which are assigned to their fleet of work vans.

Once you have found your new car registrations you can assign them to your vehicle at your local DVLA office or by posting your application to DVLA Swansea. You will need to include your V5 logbook and MOT certificate if applicable and in return you will receive a new tax disc displaying the new car registration and an update V5 logbook will follow a couple of weeks later. The new tax disc will have the same amount of license period left on it. Once assigned to a vehicle there are no other costs involved and British car registrations do not affect car insurance premiums.

Alternatively new car registrations can be kept on certificate for up to 12 months and then renewed annually for 25 payable to the DVLA. This feature allows people who are finding personal car registration plates to buy them even if they do not have a vehicle to assign the new car registration to.

Ross ODonnell writes for British car registration specialists http://www.capeplates.co.uk/ who offer millions of registrations to choose from and provides several search options for finding car registration plates. Cape Plates can assign your new car registration free of charge and provide acrylic number plates with your order.Orsa Blog89022
